The questions...are thought provoking and don't allow me to just sit in my current beliefs, but reflect on how I got here." - Michele
"After a lifetime of going to church and feeling guilty for all the ways that I didn't measure up, for the first time in my life I can say...and really mean it...'God is good.' There is so much freedom here." - Madison

Be A Hammer
Though Jacob founded "Be a Hammer", it is so much more than him. It is the collective conversations of hundreds of ministry professionals. Its thousands of hours of study and prayer. It's the encouragement of teams, individuals, and the Spirit. It's the sure knowledge that though people are fleeing from churches, God's Kingdom cannot stop advancing. It's the absolute belief that we will each individually stand before Jesus and be asked whether we did what He asked us to do.
Its the courage to reject much of our experiences and expectations in order to let God re-write our understanding of Himself, His heart, and His desire for our lives individually and His Kingdom collectively.
As Paul reminds us..."For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Let each one take care how he builds upon it" (1 Corinthians 3:10-11).
