PURPOSE | JESUS | FREEDOM
Ultimately, we are really all the same.
We are in pursuit of ourselves.
We discover along the way that a pursuit of ourselves ultimately leads us to a pursuit of God.
Knowing Jesus will make us to know ourselves. Knowing ourselves will bring us freedom to be exactly who we are made to be.
The hammer part...well, that's explained in Session One.

Married July 1, 2006 to Melissa...
She is my exact opposite. It is no joke when we openly share that without our commitment to Jesus and one another, we wouldn't have made it. I am relationally-oriented. She is task-oriented. I am "get the job done." She is "do it right." I live at 30,000 feet. She digs in the dirt. I focus on the future. She makes sure we don't die today.
Seriously. We drive each other insane. In our best moments, we lean on one another for the best parts of each other. In our worst moments, we believe the rest of life will be a battle.
There is a reason I talk so much about our marriage. It has been the testing grounds of much of our faith. It is has been the means through which God has opened our hearts and minds to Himself. We are the number one influence for God in each others lives as He has used us to reveal the misunderstandings of our personal views (opposites are good for that).
We know Jesus better because of each other. Though you'll see and hear from me, its the combined thoughts of 17 years of conversations that you'll be getting throughout.
